In today's world, medicine and technology are integrated to produce systems suited to the ever-changing landscape and global scope of healthcare delivery. The Distributed Medical Intelligence Conference is designed to provide a forum and opportunities for visionaries and those interested in technological innovations in an imaginative and thought provoking environment.

The DMI Conference is open to a range of participants including physicians, biomedical futurists, technologists, and administrators but is limited in size to provide the best environment for problem solving, innovation, and proactive concepts. Presentations will be given by speakers from a full spectrum of leaders representing military, research labs, private industry, and academia. Topics include bioterrorism preparedness and response, community awareness, medical response, disease surveillance, sensors, communications infrastructure, and global challenges. This year's DMI Conference will include discussions and lessons learned from the event-driven, reality-based training drill, Shadow Bowl. The Conference also extends a special invitation for presentations and demonstrations by participants.

The 7th Annual DMI Conference will convene in the Morgan Run Resort and Club located in Rancho Santa Fe, California (about 2O minutes north of San Diego) from March 16-18, 2003.
